Villas in Goa How to Pick the Right One

Villas in Goa How to Pick the Right One

Booking a villa is different from booking a hotel room. Here's how to choose the area and the size, what to ask before paying, and where our own villas fit in.

Area

North Goa

— The villa

First decide: North or South?

Broadly, North Goa is where you'll find the busier beaches, nightlife and cafe scene, while South Goa is known for a slower pace. Neither is better. If your group wants to go out in the evening, North usually works. We should be upfront: all our villas are in North Goa, so if you want the South, we aren't the right choice.

— Why choose us

Why guests book our villas in Goa

01

Count bedrooms, not just guests

A villa that 'sleeps 15' may rely on extra beds. Ask how many proper rooms you get.

02

Get the full price

Ask whether GST, extra guests and meals are included in the figure you're quoted.

03

Check what's staffed

Ask who is on site, what hours they work, and how often housekeeping comes.

When a villa makes sense

And when you'd honestly be better off in a hotel.

A villa usually suits you if

  • You're six or more and want to stay together
  • You'd like your own pool rather than a shared one
  • You want to cook or have meals at home sometimes
  • You have children who need space to run around
  • You're marking an occasion and want privacy

Inclusions

For a couple on a short trip, a hotel with a restaurant and reception is usually simpler and cheaper. A villa earns its price when a group uses the whole house. If you're undecided, compare our hotel rooms in Calangute with a villa for your dates.

Location guide

Goa has two airports, Mopa in the north and Dabolim further south. Our villas are all in the Bardez area of North Goa, so check which airport your flight uses before you plan the transfer.

— FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is a villa cheaper than hotel rooms in Goa?

It depends on your group. For two people, a hotel is almost always cheaper. For a bigger group, compare the villa's total with the cost of all the rooms you'd need, including meals.

Do you have villas in South Goa?

No. All four of our villa properties are in North Goa: in Saligao, Anjuna and Arpora.

How do I know a villa listing is genuine?

Check for a full address, a real phone number and recent guest reviews, and pay through a recognised payment gateway. Be careful with anyone who asks for a full advance to a personal account.

What's the smallest villa you offer?

A 3BHK at Sunridge in Saligao, which sleeps six and can take up to three extra guests.
